Why the BMW M3 Should Not Get a Tri-Turbo Engine

BMW is on its way of giving the world a new generation of the M3 and the German engineers are ready to treat us with an all-new tri-turbo six-cylinder engine that will replace the current naturally-aspirated V8.
Howerver, we don’t want natural aspiration to go and there are plenty of reasons for this, all of which are illustrated in the adjacent video, which shows an M3 that had received a few modifications, punishing its rear tires in an artistic way.

First of all, there’s the linear power delivery, which is illustrated by the gracious moves performed by the vehicle. Then, there’s the sound: turn up the volume and you’ll get goosebumps as Italian drifter Stefano Alessandri powerslides this E92 M3 on the improvised track.
