Wheego LiFe EV Coming to L.A. Auto Show

Wheego Electric Cars, an US-based all-electric vehicle manufacturer announced that it will introduce the Wheego LiFe at the Los Angeles International Auto Show next month.

The Wheego LiFe offers a driving range of approximately 100 miles (161 km) per charge. It uses a 115V lithium battery pack that can be charged using a standard 120V outlet, a 240V outlet or any of the J1772 standard charging stations being installed in public locations throughout the U.S.

The vehicle we are talking about is a two-seater subcompact that promises to offer “fit, finish and features designed for today's environmentally-conscious commuters.” Customers can choose from a color range that includes red, white, blue, black, silver and green.

The Wheego LiFe retails for a price of $32,995. It qualifies for a $7,500 Federal tax credit, as well as many state tax incentives, including $5,000 in California.

"Our highway-ready, full-speed electric car, the Wheego LiFe, is in production now and will be delivered to dealers and drivers in a few weeks," said Wheego President, Jeff Boyd. "Our many LiFe reservation holders will receive their cars first. Visitors to the LA Auto Show will be among the first to see the LiFe in person, and we think they will be delighted and intrigued with the LiFe's spacious interior, standard equipment and overall design."

The electric vehicle will be unveiled by the company’s CEO, Mike McQuary and President Jeff Boyd on November 18, during the show’s media-only days. It will be displayed in the show’s new EV exhibit area in Kentia Hall.
