After we’ve learned about the 200-unit limited Toyota Vitz GRMN Turbo going on sale in Japan, its time too see it now being pushed around on the track in the recently released Gazoo promo videos.
This Gazoo racer dedicated to the “Meister of Nurburgring” (GRMN), a former Toyota Motor Company test driver and chief of the Gazoo Racing team, has all what it needs to provide fun both on streets and track.
This sleek three-door hatch weighs only 1,090 kg (2,403 lb) and it is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine that produces 152 hp and 206 Nm of torque, which is bolted to a five-speed manual gearbox. A reinforced body with exclusive GRMN tuned suspension, ventilated disk brakes with 4-pot calipers and a nice set of lightweight BBS aluminum rims will provide the necessary fun factor while inside you will benefit from sport bucket seats, leather wrapped steering wheel with red stitching and a custom instrument cluster.
