As we were telling you earlier, Toyota will kill the X-Runner limited spec Toyota Tacoma for 2014. But don’t be sad - you can still have a sporty pickup.
Toyota said that the SR package will compensate for the X-Runner’s cutoff, which is almost the same thing only wearing a cooler name.
The Tacoma SR Package will be available on Pre-Runner, 4x4 Access and Double cab base grade. It will include color key exterior trimmings (overfenders, bumpers, door handles, grille surround and outside mirror casings), smoked headlamps and fog lights.
As with the previous X-Runner, the SR pack will be available only in three exterior colors - Pyrite Mica, Spruce Mica and Nautical Blue - while the basic Tacoma models will gain two new colors (Silver Sky Metallic and Blue Ribbon Metallic) in the range.
