Watch Russian Driver Slide Bespoke Drift Machine

Some people are really passionate about cars, and they will stop at nothing when trying to turn their not-so-good motor, into a great one, even if it means modifications so extensive, that it will never be mistaken for a stock example ever.
This Russian driver clearly loves the ZAZ 966, and he has drastically modified it, to suit his needs - drifting. Now, since the car was rear-engined, the owner has maintained the layout. However, the engine has been replaced by a high-revving motorbike engine of unknown origin or capacity - it is loud, and the car looks to be very quick, as well, so we suspect over one liter in displacement.

The car also sits significantly lower to the ground, and the wheels are pushed outward a lot, especially compared to where they used to sit on the stock car. The car itself looks far from finished, but we actually say it’s promising, and we would like to see more videos of these from Russia, instead of the countless accidents we usually get.
