Even though the first two days have not brought the explosion of speed some of the Doctor's fan were looking for, Vale finished the first two days in the 4th position, not far from the leading rider, Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa.
It's a somewhat new bike for Rossi, especially as his last two years spend aboard a Ducati and with little to no success at all may have dulled his skills a bit. However, it's nice to see Il Dottore reunited with Team Blue, and we can only hope that the 2013 MotoGP season will bring again the fierce battles of old.
