Very important lesson learned by a Russian motorcyclist in a spring day: when the roads are dirty and wet, speeding is the shortest way to wreck a bike, become severely injured or even get killed.
However, in this lucky guy's case, it was only the bike which sustained a bit of damage, with the rider making it unscathed, maybe with some little bruises.
After braking hard on wet asphalt and losing control of the motorcycle, it seems like the guy saw that he and his ride were headed directly into the incoming tractor and the bulldozer blade was anything but a friendly welcome hug.
With the bike already past the point of no return as far as leaning was concerned, the rider let it go and luckily avoided smashing into the tractor, sliding clear from harm's way on the wet road. We can see the chap back on his feet seconds after the bike impacts the tractor.
In this case, letting the bike go was by far the best decision, after the initial bad one to lay a heavy hand on the throttle. For more debates on laying the bike down, please read this Autoevolution myth-debunking episode.
