Watch a 600 HP BMW E90 M3 in Action

Supercharging a naturally aspirated car like the E90 M3 might sound like heresy for some people. Heck, for some it’s downright sacrilege and they wouldn’t consider it under any circumstance but for other people, it might be the best solution to give their ride the extra oomph it needs.

The original S65 4-liter V8 engine fitted to the chassis of the previous gen M3 would be enough for anyone out there, in their right mind. It makes 420 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque that are sent to the rear wheels exclusively thanks to either a manual 6-speed gearbox or a brilliant 7-speed DCT automatic. The one we’re looking at here has the later.

It also has more than 600 BHP at the crank, thanks to an Active Autowerke Supercharger and a PP-Performance ECU tune, both of them installed in the Middle East, where the owner of this mad M3 lives.

What you’re about to watch is just an acceleration test that will prove that you shouldn’t mess with such power. The way the car skids and how the speed adds up on the speedometer is simply mind blowing, the driver having to work extra time to keep the sedan in check. Have a look!
