Don’t know about you but I love to see anything that has a Japanese commentary in the background. It could be toddler racing, it could be snail drag times anything is more interesting when a Japanese man (or woman) comments in the background.
The guys from Jalopnik stumbled upon an older video of a famous Japanese show called Best Motoring. In this particular episode, four racing drivers take on the best sport sedans (according to them, of course) in the world.
BMW is represented by the E90 M3 (pre facelift), Mercedes came up with the C63 AMG and Lexus with the IS-F. Oh, and there’s the Nissan Skyline GT350 but we’re not really sure why they they felt the need to include this model in the line-up. Maybe it was to make sure there are two Japanese models going against two German cars. Who knows...
Bottom line is, despite having a decent start, and putting up a good fight, the Japanese were no match for ‘Ze Germans’ and had to concede in the end, the M3 claiming the checkered flag in the end.
