This comes in the form of a clip that shows a heavily modified example pull out two records over a 1-mile (1.6 km) run.
We are talking about the GT-R AMS Alpha 12+, a 1,700 bhp machine that recently tore the Russian tarmac apart. The creation managed to record two record for the GT-R species, completing the 1-mile run in 22.538 seconds and hitting a speed of 237.5 mph (382.16 km/h).
While the 2.99s time for the 0 to 62 mph sprint shows how difficult it is to put all that power down, even with AWD, the rest of the acceleration times are incredible. We are talking about 0 to 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.5 seconds and 0 to 186 mph (300 km/h) in 12.37 seconds.
