Our date with the 2012 Game Day is fast approaching, and many car brands are eager to take advantage of the huge marketing opportunity that the Super Bowl brings. Volkswagen is sticking with the Star Wars theme that made them famous in the Little Vader commercial, but also gave Greenpeace ammo to fire back at them for not being ‘clean’ enough.
Their ad for the Super Bowl is... singing dogs, or at least that’s what the trailer is about. They’re dressed up as everything from Princess Layla, to Han Solo and Chubaka, and even Lord Vader himself and a little ewok. Towards the end, the AT-AT Dog even makes a guest appearance.
