Oh the Swedes and their love of cars. They’ve given us a long long list of rally moves, some excellent racing drivers, and now the first VW Touareg on tracks.
Created by Volkswagen Sweden for good ol’ Santa Clause, the Snowareg is a machine that finds traction in the most severe of winter conditions.

To make the most of those tracks, the car is powered by a turbodiesel 4.2-liter TDI V8 engine. This makes 340 PS and more importantly 800 Nm of pulling, pushing and shoving power. It’s not even terribly complicated to drive, since all you have to do is put the DSG box in drive and you’re done!

So now, Santa has something to get the sled unstuck from the snow with!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
