A Volkswagen Scirocco might not have as interesting an interior as a Peugeot or Citroen, but that exterior is worth of earning the title of Miss Germany. This coupe is the first expression of the Volkswagen DNA design language which ultimately gave us the Mk6 Golf and the Polo.
The shape is timeless, a modern classic in the making, and it only gets better once you ad the body kit of the "R" hot hatch model. That car has the 2.0-liter turbo producing 265 hp sent through the front wheels, not the back ones like the Golf R.
American wheel specialists Vossen are in Europe, traveling to wherever there's a congregation of fans. If it's about VWs and Audis, than it has to the the Worthersee GTI meet, which is where this Scirocco R on Vossen wheels was photographed.
Now, the R already comes with a set of snazzy 20-inch rims, but they can't hold a candle to what Vossen designed for the car. With yellow rims and matte spokes, they instantly draw attention to the depth of the design and turn this into a superstar of the VW scene.
