After showing us the inspired "Mask" Beetle Convertible Commercial about three weeks ago, Volkswagen came back with a new ad for its latest convertible.
Called "Winter is the new summer", the new spot features the Abominable Snowman taking a ride on a jet-ski in a winter environment. Of course, there's no way you'll see him on a sunny beach any time soon, but Volskwagen "persuaded" him to ride with a half naked girl's hands wrapped around his chest.
To be honest, we really don't get it, and the fact that the clip doesn't feature the actual car makes it even more weird. Ok, summer is coming in about three months, but if this is the only message we should get, it quite uninspired.
If it weren't for that small "Beetle Convertible" message at the end, we would have sworn Volkswagen entered the jet-ski business.
