As one of Germany's premier car wrappers, SchwabenFolia's mainstay is usually Volkswagen-badged. It comes as no surprise then that they've managed to make such an original project out of the Golf R.
The sixth-generation hyper hatch is being phased out to make room for the arrival of the Mk VII model coming next year. However, since VWs are such bulletproof cars, owners like to hold on to them for long periods of time.

The Golf R is usually sold in quite boring colors. The ones we've seen on the street are either blue, black or silver. But this owner decided "look at me" yellow was much better, so he had his R wrapped in Sunflower Matt Metallic.

It's a very interesting finish, similar to BMW's frozen paint, but probably much cheaper. For contrast, the factory wheels were swapped for aftermarket BBS rims which are painted in cherry red, matching the taillights.
