Vorsteiner is currently working on a tuning package for the Lamborghini Aventador, with the US-based aftermarket developer now showing us the first development phases of the project.
Dubbed Vorsteiner Aventador-V, the supercar will be gifted with a set of carbon fiber aerodynamic components, including a front splitter, a side blade skirt add-on element, a two-piece rear wing, as well as a few other accessories that replace the stock ones.
Vorsteiner also used the occasion to showcase its development process:
“The blue laser light scanner give us an accurate computer generated Lamborghini 3D model. This allows us to increase effectiveness and accuracy in working with complex parts and shapes,” a company release states.
“Once our 3D model is finished, we can computer generate our parts for further development using our concept as a base. We then have a 3D rendering of our parts to give the development team an accurate vision to start with.”
Our say" we're looking forward to the first serious tuning project that doesn't insist on putting a big, fixed wing on the back of the Aventador.
