Volvo trucks are among the best-liked and most appreciated trucks in the world. Their durability, safety and fuel efficiency have always made them a prime choice for a very wide range of commercial applications. The FH tractor series are a very common sight on the roads of Europe, yet now there’s an all-new model.
The new FH features a whole host of interesting innovations, including a radically-improved interior, which allows the driver to sit lower, and thus be safer, the I-See system which remembers hills and adjusts engine parameters accordingly, thus improving efficiency by as much as 5% and a very rare feature for such vehicles - fully-independent front suspension, as well as a telemetry gathering system.
It has just entered production, and the first model to roll off the production line was recently sold at a charity auction, for €150,000. We hope to start seeing these new FHs on the road soon!
