If you’re in Sweden and this old battered Volvo 245 Wagon pulls up next to you at a red light, don’t go for a quick drag - all you’ll be able to see after the stoplight turns green will be its square rear.
And that’s because this steel brick is actually a Toyota Supra in disguise. The engine is a 2JZ and the transmission is the six-speed out of the Supra, while the rear diff comes from a BMW M5.
The engine is hardly stock, using Eagle rods, ARP head studs, a KKK29 turbocharger, PRC manifold, 2,200 cc injectors, Nuke fuel rail, Walbro Fuel pump and more.
Other than that, the Volvo received some R-Sport shocks with basic lowering springs, a rollcage, sparco racing seat, new steering and a hydraulic handbrake to aid with the tail happiness.
