We were already starting to wonder what had happened to the VW Scirocco, as we haven been seeing it perform on the tuning stage for a while. Fortunately, the vehicle is now back in the aftermarket game, receiving a package from JMS Racelook.

The German tuner is offering exterior modifications for the coupe-hatch, also playing with the vehicle’s tech side, but just a bit.

The original look from the new VW Scirocco is stunning. The Scirocco is a unique and beautiful car, no matter from which perspective. Optical improvement is very difficult for this car, without making it look worst. But the JMS team has managed to upgrade the unique vehicle without changing its character,” stated the press release.

The Scirocco received a bodykit, consisisting of a front lip spoiler (lowers the front of the car by 3 cm), a redesigned rear apron that uses diffuser stripes and a carbon insert, as well as a four-pipe rear muffler. We are talking about a stainless steel Eisenmann rear muffler that allows the engine to deliver a few extra horses an offers an aggressive sound.

The vehicle uses a H&R coilover kit that brings it closer to the road (45 mm in the front and 40 mm on the back), enhancing both appearance and handling. The car rides on 9x19-inch Barracude rims that come with a chromed finish and use 235/35 tires.

“The chassis nevertheless does not become uncomfortable, but rather ensures excellent road contact,” the tuner brags.
