Volkswagen Ready to Steal the Commercial Vehicle Show

Volkswagen is preparing an important offensive for this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show, with the carmaker preparing multiple top-class goodies, such as the UK launch of the double-cab Amarok pick-up.

The hotly anticipated four-door, four-wheel drive Amarok pick-up will be the main attraction on the stand. Officially on sale on 1 May, this is the first time the public have been able to get up and close and personal with this exciting new vehicle,” a company statement reads.

The VW Caddy Racer will have its premiere at the event, ahead of its racing debut, which is scheduled to take place on April 25 at Oulton Park - this will be the opening round of the 2011 Volkswagen Racing Cup.

In addition to that, the company is inviting you to test your darts playing skills against two of its latest Brand Ambassadors. We are talking about international darts champions, James ‘The Machine’ Wade and Mark ‘The Spider’ Webster.

One of the cake icings prepared by the carmaker is a fully restored 1954 split-screen “barn door” Transporter, which will be displayed at the event.
