Enter the Peugeot eBipper and ePartner Vans

Glasgow based Allied Vehicles presented today the electric versions of the Bipper and Partner vans, dubbed eBipper and ePartner. Both have been officially introduced at the Commercial Vehicle Operator Show, but the release date for the road going versions were not announced.

Both vehicles will have an operating range of 65 miles. When the juice runs out, each can be recharged through a domestic power socket or a dual-mode charger which can be plugged in either domestic single-phase or commercial three-phase supply. Each of the vehicles will come with a three year warranty.

The eBipper has a 375kg payload capacity and 2.8 cubic meters of loadspace, while the ePartner offers 549kg of payload and a 3.7 cubic metre load area.

The cars, jointly developed by Allied Vehicles and Axeon Batteries in some 18 months, have already been ordered by 50 customers.

“The launch of these two new zero emission vehicles completes our full range of Peugeot LCVs, from Bipper to Boxer. Electric vehicle orders have been building steadily and we hope to tap into further market segments with the introduction of these smaller all-electric models," Paul Nelson, Allied Vehicle managing director said in a release.

More companies have to reduce their carbon footprint on urban deliveries and our electric product range meets all these demands.

The two new models join the eExpert and eBoxer van, jointly built by Allied Vehicles and Peugeot.
