Volkswagen is preparing to replace the Golf VI and it seems that the company will give us a final model before the 7th generation of the compact arrives. We are talking about the open-top version of the GTI, which could arrive at this year’s edition of the Geneva Motor Show.
According to AutoExpress, VW will introduce a production version of the Golf GTI Cabriolet Concept that was introduced last year at the Worthersee Tour 2011 (the vehicle you see in the adjacent image).
The GTI Convertible, or Cabriolet, to use the European designation, will probably be a limited edition, which means that while not to many European customers will get to enjoy the car, it is likely that the US marker won’t receive the car.
