VW has recently launched a new special edition for the Scirocco, which uses the GT designation and is a tribute to the Scirocco GT24 race car.
Only 118 units will be produced (this follows the production of the racers), with the vehicles destined for the Greek market. The vehicle can be distinguished by its Lakeville 18-inch rims, blacked out taillights, revised front and rear fascias, and new side skirts.
The VW Scirocco GT also comes packed with equipment, offering goodies such as a tire pressure monitoring system, sport suspension, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climatronic, sport seats, a multifunctional sport steering wheel, on-baord computer, privacy glass, Piano Black trimming, a special “limited edition” plaque, aluminum pedals and others.
Under the hood, we find the 1.4-liter TSI turbocharged four-cylinder unit that delivers 160 hp, with customers being offered both a manual and a double-clutch DSG gearbox. The first is offered for EUR24, 820, while the latter can be your for EUR26,140.
