There's no word whether the seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf will receive a convertible version or not, but some people seem eager to find out how such a vehicle would look like.
In case you haven't guessed it already, Theophilus Chin is one of them and this new rendering is a bit more than a regular convertible Golf. Created with a longer wheelbase and an extended rear overhang, Chin's cabriolet is described as an Opel/Vauxhall Cascada rival and a replacement for the Volkswagen Eos.

An interesting concept? Yes! Would Volkswagen replace the Eos with an elongated Golf? Not likely. But we don't feel the need to be picky, the rendering business is about thinking out of the box quite often.
