Volkswagen Dealership Damaged by Man in Mazda Pick-Up Truck

How far can a fanatic go? One possible answer may be offered by the man who damaged five vehicles and urinated on other cars at a Volkswagen dealership, on late Monday night, in Hamilton, Ontario.

Having no apparent reason for the acts of vandalism, a 36-year-old man used his 2007 Mazda pick-up truck as a battering ram in order to destroy a  Volkswagen dealership, at Roseland Motors on Guelph Line. He is believed to have produced more than $5,000 worth of damage. According to the Hamilton police, the man drove into the dealership and rammed vehicles with his  truck, then drove through the front entrance way, got out of the car and began urinating on other parked vehicles.

After having finished his actions, the man returned to his truck, grabbed a bottle of champagne and a glass and climbed onto the truck’s roof. In the meantime, the employees at the dealership who witnessed the scene reported to the police that the man had committed  “indecent acts”.

A suspect was immediately arrested and charged with mischief over $5,000 and committing an indecent act.

Why did he resort to acts of vandalism, nobody seems to have the slightest idea...“He was not a customer,” said Sgt. Brian Carr. “This was not directed at the dealership. It was just a random act.”

Moreover, it seems that neither drugs nor alcohol are related to the case. Although, apparently, nobody does such thing without having some mental problems, it looks like this is not the case of our vandal.

Even more surprisingly is that the arrested suspect had no previous incidents. Then should we blame the economic crisis that drive people mad? Or is it just an enraged hatred against German cars? Silence is also an answer indeed...
