Victory and Lehman to Give Away Army Tribute Trike

American manufacturer Victory Motorcycles and Lehman Trikes have recently revealed their plan of building a special trike destined to honor the US Armed Forces (Military Veterans and Active Duty members). Using "United We Stand" as inspiration, the 2011 Lehman CrossBow Trike will be based on the Victory Vision motorcycle.

"Victory Motorcycles are our expression of freedom, and we are proud to honor all men and women of our armed forces who have made such a commitment to this great country,” explained Steve Menneto (Victory Motorcycle General Manager).

The trike will make its debut at Daytona Bikeweek, Friday March 11, at the Broken Spoke Saloon. It will be awarded five months later to a past or present member of the Armed Forces onstage at the Legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis on August 11.

Active and Veteran members of all branches of the Department of Defense, Guard, Reserve, and Coast Guard are eligible to win this one-of-a-kind trike. This giveaway is an annual event for Lehman called the "Good Turn Trike," and in partnership with Victory Motorcycles the special edition CrossBow Trike valued at nearly $40,000 will find a new owner.

Photos and additional details will follow the March 11 unveiling. The deadline for the "Good Turn Trike" application submission is May 13, 2011.

"One Good Turn deserves another. Lehman Trikes has lived by that adage for many years. As a proud Veteran myself, it is a special honor to be dedicating this year's Good Turn Trike to our dedicated members of the Military,"
said Ken Hines, President and CEO of Lehman Trikes.
