VF620 Supercharged Widebody BMW M3 Takes on Bullrun

After it managed to cover over 3000 miles (4800 kilometers) in the 2011 Gold Rush Rally Adventure, VF Engineering’s stunning Supercharged Widebody BMW M3 has taken its big tires, USAF paint job and flared bodywork to the famous Bullrun Rally.

Bullrun begun under the lights of Las Vegas on July 9, and screeches to a stop today, on the shores of Miami with stops in popular US cities along the way. The Team Toyo entry is a wicked looking 2008 BMW M3 constructed and provided by VF Engineering located in Anaheim, California. This is one mean-looking machine, and yes, it does indeed have a supercharger and 620 horsepower!

To stop the M3 from taking off, it’s been fitted with 20-inch Toyo Proxes T1R tires in sizes 275/30ZR20 front and 345/25ZR20 rear. To improve traction under performance conditions, the rubber has been tested on the famous Nurburgring track in Germany.

A number of celebrities will take turns sitting behind the wheel of the VF620 M3, including actress Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica, UFC Lightweight Anthony “Showtime” Pettis, UFC Bantamweight Miguel Torres, Strikeforce Heavyweight Josh Barnett and former WWE superstar Shad Gaspard. Joining them will be Team Toyo Off-Road driver Robby Gordon in a brand new 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

“Bullrun reflects our company philosophy of ‘Driven to Perform’ and we are excited to compete in this prestigious lifestyle event,”
said Amy Coleman, senior director of marketing, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “We encourage fans to experience this celebrity-filled rally and stay in touch with us and our celebrity drivers through the Toyo Tires Facebook and Twitter pages.”
