Veyron Is not a 'Serial Killer'

Even if a car signed Bugatti is a dream for many, according to the latest news from the company, it seems that 220 lucky mil(bil)ionaires have already ordered a Veyron and other 132 are now enjoying the exclusivity and the force of the 1001 Hp super car. The remaining 88 units ordered are to be produced by late 2009.

The Veyron, initially advertised as the most fastest, expensive and most powerful production car ever produced, was initially launched in 2005 and is set to be produced in a limited number of 300 splendid units. So if you are still in the process of making those million euros in order to afford one, there is still hope as there are still 80 cars available .
In order to tempt billionaires all over the world, Bugatti has opened 32 locations  where the exotic super car can be ordered, on the list being stores in China, Russia and South Korea.

With the increasing demand for a more advanced customization level, the answer from the manufacturer came quick, with the limited edition of just five Pur Sang models, featuring bare polished aluminum and carbon fiber and the more recent Veyron Fbg par Hermes, unveiled at this year's Geneva Auto Show. Loved, criticized or even hated, Bugatti Veyron is still an amazing piece of engineering, with an 8 liter W16 quad turbo engine capable of 1001 horsepower, reaching 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, 200 km/h in 7.4 and a top speed of 408 km/h .

The Veyron was named after French driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm. So, it has not only outstanding performance but also a racing legacy to continue, becoming both exotic super car and valuable collectible item for the rich. Two concepts with just one hell of a price.
