Tuesday was a big day for all BMW cars, not just the i8. Along with the unveiling of the hybrid sports car, BMW also took care of some other business including the Connected App for iPhones.
The App just received an update that is meant to include some bug fixes and already supports the i3. In a previous article, we already showed you what you can do with this app and the BMW EV.
In case you didn't update your Connected App in a while, we're letting you know that you can now use the Last Mile Navigation and Vehicle Finder, you can view you calendar in the vehicle, Facebook and Twitter status messages can be read out loud, you can receive news via RSS, you can use the ECO PRO Analyser and have access to more Facebook/Twitter functions.
The latest version is compatible and optimized for iPhone 5 and requires iOS 5 or later.
