The Mercedes SLS AMG has become one of the aftermarket developer’s favorite toys, with the latest company to play with the German supercar being Vath, which has recently released the V63S package. We are talking about a development that targets the technical, exterior and interior sides of the vehicle.

The naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 unit has received a custom exhaust system that uses valves to control the sound-growl, as well as an ECU remap. This means that the unit now delivers 615 hp and 680 Nm (502 lb.ft.) of torque (the stock figures are 571hp and 650 Nm / 480 lb.ft. of torque). Thus, the powerplant pushes the car from 0 to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds (down from 3.8 seconds) and on to a top speed of 205 mph/ 330 km/h, compared to the 197 mph/ 317 km/h stock value.

The vehicle also has its brakes and connection to the road upgraded. The first now use slotted rotors and new pads, while the latter is comprised of a lowering suspension, which brings the SLS AMG 25 mm closer to the road and a set of three-piece forge rims that come in a 20-inch size and use high-performance tires (265/30: front and 325/25: rear).

The vehicle uses a shy carbon fiber aerodynamic package that includes a front bumper lip spoiler, fresh side skirts, as well as a rear wing. As for the interior, this has received a sports steering wheel, which comes with a leather finish, carbon and wood trimming, as well as a new speedometer that goes all the way up to 248 mph (400 km/h).

The price for all the aforementioned goodies is about what you’d pay for a real mean and well-equipped hot hatch: EUR32,670.
