Unfastened Styrofoam Causes Motorbike Crashes on Highway

If you need to haul something in your pick-up, and you have to do it over a highway, make sure that everything you are carrying is tightly and securely fastened, otherwise there’s a very high chance of the load flying off and hitting somebody in the face - or helmet, as is the case here.
These riders were just minding their own business, riding their bikes on the highway, when all of a sudden many styrofoam boards started flying all over the place. You may be thinking that styrofoam is light, but when it gets flung at a motorbike rider at highway speeds, you can be pretty sure it will do at least some damage.

Sadly, in this case the styrofoam caused two of the riders to fall off - one of the bikes was completely totaled in the incident. Both were taken to hospital for minor injuries - we hope whoever caused this gets caught.
