Lamborghini is working full throttle to give us a successor for the Gallardo, but the Raging Bull’s next V10 model won’t arrive until 2013 or 2014 and the carmaker is willing to keep the Gallardo fresh until then.
Thus, Lambo is going to release one (or maybe more) final special edition of the Gallardo. The details are unclear at the moment, but this should come with much more than just new details like paint and wheels - it is expected to bring technical upgrades.
The Gallardo is currently Lambo’s most successful model ever and this is thanks to the fact that this was the carmaker’s first V10 supercar built under Audi’s lead. Lambo has introduced quite a few special editions since the Gallardo came to the market back in 2003 and the company will use the same approach now.
