With this year's edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed currently taking place at full velocity, most of the attention goes to the infamous Hillclimb.
And while a Kamaz Dakar truck drifting on the overly tight 1.16-mile course, for instance, means the attention magnet effect is only normal, we mustn't forget about the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage.
This is where, for 2016, Louise Cook, the British Rally Ladies champion, gave a lucky passenger (a competition was held for a seat in her racecar) a thrilling shotgun ride.
Using her Fiesta R2 rally car, Louise "chauffeured" a man around the rally stage, which is found at the top of the Goodwood hill. You can check out the in-car footage at the bottom of the page.
With rain having been less than shy before Louise and her passenger went out, the muddy entertainment was guaranteed.
Packing 180 hp and tipping the scales at just over one ton, this Fiesta is a bit of a riot. An important part of the credit for the Blue Oval machine's performance goes to the five-speed sequential Sadev transmission, which is matched with a limited slip diff.
P.S.: This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed might as weel be called the efficiency edition, as every square inch was put to hooning use, even the parking lot.

The playground for the action is a serious course
The two enjoyed the Fiesta hooning together, with the 1.5-mile of gravel serving as an amusement park. We have to keep in mind that the current setup of the rally course has been designed by retired rallying legend Hannu Mikkola, being introduced back in 2006.With rain having been less than shy before Louise and her passenger went out, the muddy entertainment was guaranteed.
OK, but what about the four-wheeled contraption being used here?
As for those of you who want to know more about the car the British ladies use in their national battle, you shouldn't let the 1.0-liter three-cylinder mill of the R2 trick you into believing this is a tamed animal.Packing 180 hp and tipping the scales at just over one ton, this Fiesta is a bit of a riot.
