Commercials are designed to make it easier for us to part with our money. They make us feel like we ‘know’ the product we’re trying to buy and it feels familiar to us, even though it isn’t, all through of ad campaigns.
BMW has recently launched two funny ads in which they remind the owner or possible buyer of their (rather good) servicing deals in an amusing way. We won’t spoil them as they are quite amusing and worth every bit of their 30 second runtime. With this new ad campaign, BMW has managed to create a definite buzz about their products and services, currently unmatched by their main (German) rivals.
Thanks to their clever marketing, varied and distinctive line-up of very good products and their tradition, BMW will always appeal to the more left-brained among us as logic and reason dictate that they make the best cars in the world. But is that really true in our world of ever-changing trends and opinions?
