You get to see lots of strange military equipment being transported on the highways of the old USSR, and while it may have been abolished in 1991, its legacy still lives on today. Take this peculiar incident from Ukraine, where a truck with a flatbed trailer was transporting two APCs (Armored Personnel Carriers).
The keyword there is ‘was’, as in past tense, as in they fell off, at some point. How could the driver drive off with two very heavy wheeled pieces of military hardware without making sure they are strapped in tightly? Would it not be a real hazard which could potentially kill people if they were to break loose, fall off and then roll around uncontrollably, smashing everything in their path?
Thankfully, it seems that nobody was hurt this time, but it could have ended much worse. It is therefor safe to laugh and make fun as much as we want!
