There are plenty of aficionados who have left the Fast And Furious franchise behind over the years, as the focus moved from the cars themselves to the more or less cheesy action. However, we all remember that Supra-meets-Ferrari scene from the original.
Well, when a Mk IV Supra whose engine compartment hides a massive turbo recently came across a Lamborghini Huracan while... cruising down the road, the driver of the Japanese delight was determined to recreate the said scene.
However, the guy behind the wheel of the Sant'Agata Bolognese animal wasn't exactly ready to be cast in the role of the driver who gets left behind.
Of course, the Lambo driver's ambition wouldn't have been nearly enough to deal with the grunt of the Toyota, but the man was well prepared to back up his velocity goals.
To be more precise, the V10 heart of the Huracan had been gifted with a pair of turbos, which turned the encounter into an ultra-spicy scenario.
Then again, it's not like the driver of the Toyota had been tipped off - the Raging Bull was driving around without the rear bumper, so the extra hardware was clearly visible.
Since both drivers seemed to be familiar with the language of the street, it didn't take too long before things heated up. And we'll stop describing the encounter here, as we don't want to ruin the giggles delivered by this piece of footage.
Now, once you check out the action in the clip, you might wonder why the Lamborghini Huracan spend so much time riding the limiter. And guys in the Supra have a story about this: "We think the lambo's clutch was slipping, not the supra... its common for big power lambos on stock clutch to have issues shifting once the clutch gets hot,"
