Well, isn't this the most interesting tuning project we've seen all week?! It's an Audi R8 that's been force-fed by the tuner xXx Performance. What makes it interesting is that it's not the full Lamborghini Gallardo with Audi badges, it's just your average 4.2-liter V8, ordschool technology that started life in an RS4.
But instead of the usual 420 hp or so, twin turbochargers bolted onto the V8 ensure it makes 707 hp. 0 to 100 km/h is dealt with in just 3.6 seconds and it will reach 300 km/h in 15.8 seconds. Now that's impressive!
As a tuning project, xXx's R8 is a bit like Frankenstein's monster. There's carbon fiber hear and there, the larger side air blades from the V10 model and the ugly two-tone alloy wheels that Senner put on the Juke Nismo yesterday.
So yeah, we wold definitely skip the wheels and get just the turbos!
