TV Commercial: Come Rain and Shine

There’s plenty of things to love about the Range Rover Evoque. It started out with a borrowed platform, but Land Rover gave it a heart, an efficient heart, the first RR model with four cylinders combined with plenty of lightweight construction materials, regenerative brakes, a stop-start system, and the ERAD (electric rear axle drive) parallel hybrid powertrain system.
But the best thing about this car when it was unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show was that even though it looks like a concept car, it’s actually production ready. The proportions created by big wheel and short glass structure create the most muscular machine this side of a tank.

You know you love that sculpted body, that you just want to get it dirty only to clean it up again, and so does Land Rover. Their latest commercial features a man who’s passion for the Evoque knows no boundaries, as he gets dirty to bring out the white. This ad is so wrong on so many level that we’re not going to go into it. And so, we’ll just let you decide for yourselves if you’re into the muddy ad or not.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
