The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is one heck of a machine. Weighing in at 1,620 kg (3571 lbs) and fitted with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 563 HP and 480 lb-ft (651 Nm) of torque, that car is fast!
Not as fast as a BMW X6 M though. That's what the video below is all about. Talking about amazing engines and drivetrains, you can't go wrong with BMW. At a first glance, you'd say the big, 2 and a half tone car would stand no chance.
However, the Bimmer is not stock. It was prepped by the guys from PP-Performance but it still has that monster V8 4.4-liter engine under the bonnet. The thing is now, the car has 760 HP at its disposal, 200 HP over the stock numbers.
With that extra power, the X6 M manages to outrun the SLS AMG first only on the quarter mile and then, on the full mile dragstrip of the guys from Dragtimes.
