We know this is rather difficult to believe, but the video below has a bit of an educational purpose. However, before we move on to discussing the benefits brought by this clip, allow us to introduce the vehicle used here.
This is the kind of car we like to call a next door tuner machine. You know, that modded ride your neighbor has, which costs considerably less than your new Toyota. While it may sometimes run on the owner's sweat and tears, this is the type of four-wheeled contraption that makes you smile whenever other drivers cringe at the sight of snow and ice on the road.

The vehicle in question is a B5-generation Audi S4. Back in the late 1990s, Audi packed a joyful 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 under the hood of the S4.

While the stock engine delivers 251 ponies, we'd say the example we have here packs well over 300 hp. Factor in the quattro all-wheel-drive, as well as the reasonable ground clearance, and you'll end up with the perfect sleigh.

We don't want to get carried away with quattro matters, so we'll give you the promised explanation for the educational side of the footage.

What the owner of the car does here is the thing all drivers should attempt when coming across a space that allows this to be practiced safety - the guy is testing the limits of his Audi, understanding how his ride acts in various extreme situations.

Until autonomous cars take over, we still have many decades of DIY driving ahead of us. And having many drivers who are able to keep their vehicles in control even when an emergency situation requires a less-than-subtle maneuver wouldn't be half bad.

Then again, such practices could end up making shopping an impossible experience, so we recommend heading out to a track rather than going for the deserted parking lot story.
