Let's say you can play a game using a first-generation Audi R8 V10 Plus and a Lamborghini Huracan. Pitting these two against each other isn't really fair, so you'll have to be creative for this family affair.
How about using the faster vehicle as a camera car, while the other supercar becomes some sort of a snow plow that only works properly when driving sideways?

This is what happens in the footage below, which sees the R8 V10 drifting its way up a snow-covered mountain road, with the Raging Bull following closely.

With the first-gen R8 basically being a RWD contraption disguised as an AWD vehicle, the driver manages to pull an entire series of extreme stunts, one of which managed to spark quite a debate on Reddit - people wonder whether they would be comfortable with trashing their cars in such a slippery and tight scenario.

Well, the answer depends on the human element connecting the steering wheel and the three pedals of the Audi. In this case, we are talking about Niki Schelle, a German racing driver and host for the country's Grip car show.

While the action seems to have been captured on camera while recording for an episode released about one year ago (we added the episode at the bottom of the page), this piece of footage wasn't included in the clip.

Niki manages to use the R8 as if it were a drift car, staying sideways most of the time, including on the straight sections. In case you're wondering about the tarmac that hosted the slip angle play, this is the Wallberg-Panoramastrasse in Bavaria, Germany. We're talking about a toll road, one that sadly comes with a 30 mph (50 km/h) speed limit and is closed during the cold season.

Then again, when you're using a Lancia Delta Group B rally car and you have Walter Rohrl on the "set," overcoming such limitations only comes natural.
