Toyota UK Promises Peace of Mind to New Customers

Despite the fact that it at announced it is pleased with the new car sales volume in the UK, Toyota is trying to further gain customer confidence in its products with a new offer. This will be marketed by Toyota under the theme “Your choice, our promise”.

A new financing programme is also destined to appeal to British customers, as Toyota offers finance rates from 3.9 per cent APR on European built cars, including UK built Auris and Avensis.

“This great new programme not only represents superb value for our customers, it also gives them complete peace of mind around their choice of vehicle. It also underpins the principle of trouble free motoring characteristic of Toyota’s products,” Toyota Managing Director Miguel Fonseca said in a release.

All new Toyota cars purchased through retail from March 27 come with the choice of either:

• warranty cover extended from three to five years
• a free three-year service plan

“And with the choice of a longer warranty or free servicing for their new car, they can make a choice based on their personal priorities. Either offer will enable customers to experience the outstanding service provided by our network,” Fonseca added.

The five-year warranty builds on the three-year/60,000-mile warranty that applies to all new Toyota models. The fourth and fifth year UK cover require that owners’ cars undergo servicing at an official Toyota service centre.

The free three-year service plan covers all routine servicing costs during the first three years of the car’s life, that is three scheduled annual services, or at 10,000, 20,000 and 30,000 miles if those mileages are reached sooner.
