Born from the automaker’s experience in desert racing, the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro just emerged at the 2014 Chicago Show, coming with some neat upgrades for all off-roading fans.
Like the rest of the TRD Pro lineup, the Tundra gets TRD Bilstein shocks with remote reservoir, custom front springs, an aluminum front skid plate, unique front grille with “TOYOTA” iconic badging, TRD floor mats and shift knob.
To differentiate the Tundra from the Tacoma and 4Runner, the pickup gains additional all-black 18-inch alloy rims wrapped in Michelin ORP tires, a TRD dual exhaust system, TRD PRO quarter panel bed stamping , unique interior seat color with red stitching and a unique instrument panel ornament insert.
The special TRD Pro Series Tundra will come around in the fall of 2014. Price was not revealed, but the automaker said it will try to keep the truck affordable.
