Russia really is a fascinating place, to visit, no live in of course. But if you are visiting, be careful where you park your car, for it might not be the same in the morning.
Somebody parked the the wrong part of town, and his vehicle was never the same. Instead of forcing the ignition and moving the whole SUV, some thieves disassembled the Toyota Land Cruiser bit by bit.

They took off all the doors, the whole interior except the carpet and headliner, the bonnet, the grille, some engine components, the wheels and even the trunk. You can barely make out what the vehicle used to be any more.

It might look funny, but imagine the dilemma the owner was in. Before the Land Cruiser can be moved to a shop, it has to have wheels. Also, who knows if insurance covers this type of theft.
