The final round of this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship is coming fast, with the practice rounds being over all ready and Toyota appearing to be ready to take on its rivals.
Toyota Racing posted the fastest times in both practice sessions at the Bahrain International Circuit, with the No.7 leading the way in the afternoon before the No.8 taking the first position in the evening.

“It was an interesting day for us. We ran through the programme and learned a lot. Now we have to put it all together for qualifying and especially the race. The weather and track conditions are very interesting; they change a lot. Between day and night the temperature drops and the humidity comes in. This causes quite a large change in the track characteristics. We have to correctly understand that and then address it.” said Toyota driver Alex Wurz.

Stay tuned for more information from the qualifying round and the main race on Saturday.
