Toyota drivers in New Zealand will now be able to receive the latest information on traffic conditions supplied by the SUNA Traffic Channel right in their vehicles.
"We are looking forward to working with Toyota to deliver its customers the SUNA real-time traffic service. The addition of Toyota further extends Intelematics’ partnership network in New Zealand and Intelematics’ presence in the in-car satellite navigation market", said chief executive officer of Intelematics, the company behind SUNA, Adam Game.
The traffic data system is now available as standard on the Toyota Prado VX Limited and offered as an option on the VX simple model. The system provides detailed congestion informations, made possible through real-time analysis of data collected from thousands of “probe” vehicles fitted with GPS systems.
