Toyota Promotes Road-Safety Awareness in Thailand

As road accidents killed 12 out of every 100,000 Thais last year, Toyota Motors Thailand and Honda Automobile launched a road safety awareness program for the people there.
Toyota signed a contract to create two traffic-model cities to raise awareness over traffic rules among the youngsters. The model-city campaign started 25-years ago and there are two dioramas already, covering Bangkok and Nakon Ratchasima. The following two being constructed will feature Phitsanulok nad Nakhon Si Thammarat cities.

According to Toyota’s executive Suparat Sitisuwannangkura, 1.5 million children have already been brought to the first two cities and have been taught how to avoid accidents and show compassion for other road users.
