Toyota Prius vs Tram: T-Bone Crash in Russia

If you want to cross two tram tracks in a car, you have to check that a tram isn’t coming from behind or from up ahead. Of course, this might be tricky if it’s really close and in your blind spot, but we doubt this was the cause of this really silly accident.
A Toyota Prius pulled away from an intersection at about the same time as the tram that’s sitting right besides it. Yet somehow, the driver didn’t notice it in his rearview mirrors and tries to cross the tracks with disastrous consequences.

The tram has no time to react and T-bones the hybrid. After the crash, the Prius tries to pull itself away but seems to be stuck on the tram’s front hitch. Oh well, at leas this way we know he’s not hurt!
