The mid engined Toyota MR2 is a firm favourite for those who want to have their very own replica of an Italian supercar. It is easily one of the cheapest mid-engined cars money can buy, and it is generally solid and a very good base for a variety of replicas.
This particular replica of a Lamborghini Murcielago is based on a 1991 MR2 we must admit that it looks far better than some other attempts we’ve seen, and while the rear isn’t an exact replica of a Lambo, it’s close enough to fool the people you were hoping to fool in the first place.
The car seems generally well-built, and retains most of the MR2’s running gear, and its engine, so while it may look like a Lambo, it will be much slower. The car is for sale on eBay, in Albertville, Alabama and its owner is asking $29,995 (€23,200) for it.
