Toyota did a great job with the GT 86 back-to-basis sportscar, managing to offer both fun behind the wheel, reliability, versatility and affordability in one sexy-looking package.
Of course, keeping the price down meant that the GT 86 lacks some details you might find on a more upscale sportscar. But that depends on you to add to the pack if you want. Toyota offered the base, on which every individual can construct according to his own taste.
An example of missing “luxury” accessory on the GT 86 is a hood damper, the factory model coming with the classic “lift-and-stick” system. But you can change that with this new damper kit from SUPERGRID.
The pack comes at ¥13,800 ($135 / €99) containing two two high-quality Sutabirasu gas dampers, body and hood mountings as well as the nuts and screws for attaching everything together.
